Balanced food is a precondition for the harmonic development of each baby. Hamánek baby food is prepared in such a way that a baby has the recommended intake of individual foods needed for a full development at a particular age. Mums do not have to think hard about a balanced menu for their babies or lose their time by mixing and pureeing.
Thanks to the vacuum packaging, the products have a long shelf life and we do not need to add any special agents. Hamánek baby food has excellent flavour, colour and smells of fresh fruit and vegetables. It contains all necessary vitamins and minerals your baby needs.
When developing the products we work very closely with paediatricians. We use only the best quality ingredients for the production. The vegetables and fruit are grown on organic farms and they are thoroughly checked before the actual production.
State-of-art technology and equipment are used for the production which is monitored and which complies with current health and safety standards.
Ready products are microbiologically tested.
Hamánek milk porridge is suitable as additional nutrition for babies who have started taking solid food. The porridge is enriched by important vitamins, fibres, calcium, iron and iodine which are essential for a healthy development of each child.
Hamánek offers a wide selection of porridges which are of course gluten-free. The bases for Hamánek porridges are rice flakes which have a high nutritional value, they are easy to digest and they cause no irritation.
It is very easy to prepare Hamánek porridge and you can rely on the fact that your child is getting the best quality available.
Baby food can be served to babies older than 4 months.
There is nothing better for new born babies and babies in their first year than to be breastfed. Breastfeeding secures normal growth and development and a high level of immunologic protection. Unless stated otherwise by the doctor, it is suitable to start introducing additional food from the 6th months to enrich your baby’s food by important vitamins, fibres, minerals, vegetable and animal fat.
It is not advisable to introduce additional food earlier as it is not beneficial for your child. Also by introducing additional food before the 6th month, you might cause allergic reactions or gastrointestinal disorders. Nevertheless, if using formula (if introduced straight from the birth) one can start using additional food 1-1,5 months earlier.
Basic recommendations when starting to use additional food
We always start with one type of additional food in the interval of 3-5 days whilst watching the reaction of the baby. When the baby takes to the new food well, we can introduce 2 or more additional foods per day.
As the baby knows only the taste of mother’s milk or formula, it will not take to the new taste immediately. Therefore it is necessary to introduce the additional food when the baby is hungry. A new type of additional food should be given to the baby during the first half of the day. It is not recommended to introduce the additional food when the baby is ill or it is teething. Start with one teaspoon a day and gradually get to 50 g a day.
